My HP laptop doesn’t show any wifi connections

My HP laptop won’t show any wifi connections when I click on the no wifi logo. The only two options on there are the airplane mode toggle which won’t work currently and the link to network settings. I’ve tried using the link and trouble shooting but it is yet to fix my problem. The laptop this issue is currently occurring on uses windows 10

    I’ve done that at least 5 times without anything happening, I’ve reset once but the issue stayed

    Accept the License Agreement then click next. After, just click next.

    After pressing next on this slide and the next I don’t get any instructions, the window just closes and leaves me in file explorer

    Yes, click yes then follow the on-screen instruction. After it is installed, you need to restart the laptop for the installation to finish.

    This comes up after allowing the file to make changes to my pc, I assume I click next until I get the agree tick box again
