Why does my snipping tool no longer bring up the pop up image to edit?

My Snip tool used to bring the image I captured in a pop up automatically, that I could edit when using the windows key & Ctrl S. It no longer does this? Is there a setting I need to change? I have to actually open the Snip Tool Menu to get this to work now. Not sure if some update was done by my IT people that changed this.

    I have used all of the choices individually..... still no pop-up :(

    This worked.
    And my problems started when I turned that on in the settings. It works fine on my Win10 machine. I like the automatic save for what I'm doing. Turning this off on my Win11 machine is unfortunate, but well worth it to restore the pop-up functionality. Unfortunately, it doesn't open a new window for a new snip, it uses the same window that is already open and overwrites the previous snip. Again, worth it to get the pop-up back.

    For me an update last week fixed it. Screenshots are saving and in the meantime popups show up again.

    Devs must have seen this thread 🙌
