Was this update supposed to have fixed the issue and if so it did nothing for me as I still have the same issue and now lately I am noticing that my computer is freezing up.

Local Security Authority Protection

I have the security Action badge indicating to me that Windows security Action is required.
I open up by clicking the badge and see the notice that the Local Security Authority Protection is required to be turned on and restart the computer to which I perform those two actions.
After my computer is reloaded the Security Badge still requires me to turn Local Security Authority Protection on, as I have already done.

No, the same KB number was used in this case because they released the same changes for 22621.1343 and a week later to the public with 22621.1344.
They are basically the same changes, just with a different Build number for public preview.

2023-03-01T05:19:27+00:00 Got a second machine today with the LSA problem.
This was Build 22621.1344 in R.P. channel.
Same Security update kb5007651 1.0.2302.21002.
Same Registry fix, as reported previously, allowed LSA to enable after a reboot and cleared the problem.
Edit:
The same also on Beta Build 22623.1325 later today.

What windows Build are you running.
Type Winver in command prompt and show the Build Number.
Also, what is your Security Version?
Open the Security Dashboard from the system tray, check Settings > About and post a shot of the Security System version.
