Wdcsam64.sys driver preventing me from turning on memory integrity

I have the same problem. I do have an external hard drive. Will external hard drive work without driver?

I've been reading all of the replies here and also could not delete the files of gain permission to delete them. I finally went to Western Digital's website and they stated that the fix is to download the LATEST software from the site. I followed their steps, and alas, it worked! I guess it removed the wdcsan64.sys file and replaced it with one that allows one to reactivate the memory integrity. I was actually not expecting to work, but it did! This is the problem im having, wdcsam.sys is the driver that keeps popping up on the scan. I have deleted everything and restarted and it never shows up on and lists or scans, windows search doesnt find it. Im stuck at this point.
