how to enable sound equalization in windows 11

I am attempting to enable audio equalization for windows 11. I followed a video tutorial, by downloading the latest Realtek audio driver, then opening my sound settings and enabling the equalizer. I am not given this option. I see no equalizer selection in my sound settings. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

bigbeardedbuddy.

Alas, the system has neither Realtek folder nor RtkGUI64.exe.

    Thanks for the reply!

I have a problem with the equalizer, when the latest Windows update on August 10, 2023, the equalizer disappeared from Realtek Audio. Are there any potential solutions available?

Yes, it would be good if they restored the Realtek equalizer. I downloaded "FxSound" from microsoft store, which creates a separate audio device and includes an equalizer, but I had issues and removed it.

Media players eg VLC include an equalizer, try that!
