I am attempting to enable audio equalization for windows 11. I followed a video tutorial, by downloading the latest Realtek audio driver, then opening my sound settings and enabling the equalizer. I am not given this option. I see no equalizer selection in my sound settings. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

Kind regards,

bigbeardedbuddy.

JosephT71, you don't offer any solutions and you are an example of what is wrong with people on the Internet. If the damn equalizer was easy to get to, halfway intuitive, and didn't involve a ****-ton of troubleshooting, then there wouldn't be a bunch of people trying to figure out how to get to the fxxking equalizer in Windows 11.

We just want to turn on 1 equalizer.. We can't seem to be able to get to any of them.. I have a Dell Precision 5770 laptop.. I've installed all the drivers.. the equalizer isn't there. The equalizer seems to have disappeared from damn near all audio apps and devices lately.. and we all remember equalizers being built-in components of almost any audio device or application.

The situation is frustrating.. Windows 11 is horrible garbage - but at least it should have an audio equalizer.. or at least it should be able to get to if a 3rd party application is available.

TIL Windows 11 doesn't have loudness equalization. Why exactly take this away? Laughable.

Your EQ can be anywhere. Your loudness equalization can also be anywhere --- such as "midnight" in the following photo.

Such as in the "mydell" application.

If you can't find it, then talk to Dell. Nothing to do with Microsoft.

My MSI motherboard Realtek drivers also did not come with an equalizer setting, nor do I have some "premium audio" going on.

I have installed the Realtek Universal driver from my motherboard support page and found that the "Realtek Audio Console" app, which is available on Microsoft Store, works in my case https://apps.microsoft.com/detail/9P2B8MCSVPLN?hl=en-us&gl=US
