Hi again, Followed your instructions. Uninstalled Realtek Audio, restarted system, checked properties, exact same thing. I'm also assuming that when you restart the system, it automatically reinstalls the realtek driver? Anyhow, no change from last time. Sorry.

Usually, there is. Try this and report here the result.

Open device manager by right-clicking the Windows logo then click device manager.

Next, double-click sound, video, and game controllers in the device manager to expand it

Next, locate Realtek audio then right click it then click uninstall device.

Next restart the laptop.

After the restart, check again the sound properties.

When I open the device properties, then click on enhancements, these are my choices: Bass Boost, Headphone virtualization, loudness equalization. Is there supposed to be an "equalizer" option?

Did you already use the latest Realtek driver provided by the laptop manufacturer's support?

The equalizer can be turned on if available in sound properties. Click the Windows logo on the taskbar then type mmsys.cpl then click the search result. Under playback, double-click your current audio device (the one with a green check on it) to open its properties. On its properties, the equalizer should be under enhancements.
