I am attempting to enable audio equalization for windows 11. I followed a video tutorial, by downloading the latest Realtek audio driver, then opening my sound settings and enabling the equalizer. I am not given this option. I see no equalizer selection in my sound settings. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance.

There is nothing to restore.
People like fireberd had figured it out all the way back in windows 7 over 10 years ago that if you have a premium audio then all those "missing" features weren't "missing" at all. They were just moved to the premium audio app (such as fireberd's motherboard which came with soundblaster app in windows 7).

2023-08-11T10:47:26+00:00 Yes, it would be good if they restored the Realtek equalizer. I downloaded "FxSound" from microsoft store, which creates a separate audio device and includes an equalizer, but I had issues and removed it.
Media players eg VLC include an equalizer, try that!
