New issue with unlocking my Samsung phone via phone link app on PC

I've been using the "Phone Link" app on my computer and mobile and this has let me mirror my phone on my computer and enabled me to unlock the phone screen from my PC. However I'm no longer able to unlock from the PC and it is showing the following message: "Unlock on your phone. To keep your credential private and secure, we need you to unlock your phone to continue." Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue?

    Thanks to everyone here, after both installing the old windows app and removing updates from android then install from galaxy store, I can unlock from my computer again.

    The only issue left for me is that the PC dialog window remains black when I enter my PIN, so basically have to blind type my password, better than before for sure. I am wondering if anyone else is also having this symptom even after the downgrade. My phone is Z fold3 so it might contribute to this issue?

    OK - how did you uninstall the app on your phone? I cant figure that part out. It seems that Samsung wont allow it to be uninstalled.

    Uninstall the app on your phone. Delete phone profile on your PC. Reconnect the phone, update phonelink app through Samsung store and it should work for you again. It started working again for me. It still shows there is update through Google Store but i won't update it through there

    I just got update to Android 13 but I am pretty sure this problem existed before. I think this is a Microsoft bug.
