Quick Access not showing in navigation pane since Windows 11 update

I updated to the latest version of Windows 11 yesterday. When I opened File Explorer, Quick access and recent files/folders were showing to the right of the window, but the Quick Access folder option was missing from the navigation panel on the left. So if I click away from this Window I've lost Quick Access. How do I re-enable Quick Access to the left part of the navigation pane?

Please look at the screenshot before replying. Quick Access is enabled in view mode options and can be seen, but is missing from the left side of the navigation pane.

Thanks for any help.

In a typical masterful Microsoft way, instead of changing to "Pin to Home", they left it "Pin to Quick Access", which does not show anymore.

I am still waiting for a solution to the Meeting invitation auto delete from Inbox to be fixed, but I don't hold my breath for any of these issues.

Maybe my problem was a little different, but all of my dozen or so quick access pinned folders disappeared the day after I used my computer last. I'm running Windows 11 Pro on a computer I've had for only 3 months. No updates were installed recently outside of Microsoft's monthly updates from a couple of weeks ago. After spending a half hour trying several different proposed solutions with nothing working, I started recreating the quick access list from what I could remember. This is where my problem might be different because I still had the "pin to quick access" option when I right clicked on folders, and the pinning worked.
