This worked for me. I disconnected printer from laptop (USB), executed the download, program told me to connect printer, and it was done. Took about 15 seconds

    На компьютере №1 - windows 11. На компьютере №2 - windows 10. К компьютеру №1 подключен принтер hplj1018. Не могу предоставить общий доступ к принтеру hplj1018 для компьютера №2. Точнее в сети на компьютере №2 принтер видно, но при попытке подключения к нему ошибка : Указанное сетевое имя более не доступно.

    English language version

    On computer No 1- windows 11. On computer No2 - windows 10.

    Computer No. 1 is connected to the hp laserjet 1018 printer. I can't share the hplj1018 printer for computer 2.

    More precisely on the network on computer No 2, the printer is visible but when you try to connect to it, the error is: The specified network name is no longer available.

    It worked for me also. My 15 years old HP 1018 got installed in Windows 11 PC.
