This download DID in fact work! I screwed around for two days trying to get my new Windows 11 laptop to print to my perfectly functioning old HP Laser Jet 1018. Finally tried this. I confirm that it did work after 15 seconds :)

This worked for me. I disconnected printer from laptop (USB), executed the download, program told me to connect printer, and it was done. Took about 15 seconds
