This worked for me. I disconnected printer from laptop (USB), executed the download, program told me to connect printer, and it was done. Took about 15 seconds

    Try this https://www.catalog.update.microsoft.com/Search.aspx?q=HP%20laserjet%201018%20 . Download that for Windows 8.1 and later drivers, and follow the manual installation procedure already described

    Thank you very much, but it didn't work for me. :(

    I have followed all the steps, but, in the last step, I get a message that says:

    "The printer driver was not installed. The system cannot find the file specified."

    I don't think I've done anything wrong or different from what he explains in the video.

    Any additional ideas?
