Mine is really consistent now.
If I shutdown my PC. Upon startup, the fingerprint sensor works every time.
If I put my PC in sleep mode for a random period of time, the fingerprint reader does not work when waking up with the same error, everytime.

I recently got a Dell Inspiron with Windows 11 preloaded. The fingerprint reader was working fine at first, but now it appears to not be working with windows hello. The option to add a finger or remove the fingerprint are greyed out and not clickable.
I've seen posts about this issue in Windows 10, but the fixes aren't working for me.

Does anyone know if Microsoft is working on a fix for this issue?
For my sensor, it always works from a power up.
The problem is when the PC comes out of sleep mode.
Keeping my fingers crossed for a fix in the next MS update or a Samsung Update, driver update.
