Yeah I checked everything but I'm not able to see this biometric devices option. I tried new OS installation but this also didn't work.
I think I tried most but it's still....🥲

I recently got a Dell Inspiron with Windows 11 preloaded. The fingerprint reader was working fine at first, but now it appears to not be working with windows hello. The option to add a finger or remove the fingerprint are greyed out and not clickable.
I've seen posts about this issue in Windows 10, but the fixes aren't working for me.

hi sir,
i was check my laptop at device manager. its not show the biometric driver here and fingerprint driver. can you help me?
same problem
Thanks, Carlo. That worked for me although things weren't quite how you described, here. I was not able to simply remove the driver but had to remove the whole device. Once I did that and restarted, the device was restored with a working driver.
