I started having an issue (very recently) with being able to answer a reply to my comments on MSN News. I can comment on a news article and someone will reply to that comment. When I open MSN News again and get a "reply balloon" on the bottom of the page and proceed to click on the text in the balloon (to bring up that page with the comments so I can respond), it now takes me to a "Microsoft Start" version of that page (with the colored blocks showing on the page tab instead of the MSN butterfly) which looks like the story as it appeared from its original source (like Reuters or Insider, etc.) that doesn't have the comments available or showing anywhere; it's completely different from the original MSN page.
I typically use Firefox but I’ve opened MSN in Edge and it’s doing the same thing, so the only way to comment on a reply is to bookmark the original MSN page when I comment, then get back to the page that way and hunt for the reply to my comment on a refreshed version of the page. As of now, I haven’t found a way to get it back to the way it used to act, so maybe this is new behavior with MSN News, but if so, it’s definitely not preferable to the way it used to be. This isn't some critical issue, but it's very annoying when trying to follow-up with replying to a comment response. (Windows 10 Pro, HP laptop)

With multiple people having same problem for a while now, I'm wondering if MSFT is not interested in solving this problem. By doing so, they can stop back and forth bantering. I see it as useful dialog people should be allowed to carry on, even if their opinions differ. However, I also find this very annoying as I see replies directed right back at me and I'm unable to answer them back.
thank you for that. And the censorship has become onerous, and that is being kind. Perfectly innocuous posts on my part are routinely rejected, and without a bit of WHAT made it not fit the 'guidelines'. Bottom line, Msoft cant do comments worth a damn. I will look at Yahoo as my portal.

I'm having the same problem as the rest of you. Very frustrating. Started at the beginning of Novemeber.
I cant understand though how before I send my first reply that other people may have replied multiple times over a period of time to the post. So not everyone is seemingly having the same problem.
I also agree on the personalised news feed. I want to see all news. If its just things I've commented on, I'll spend the rest of my life arguing with Express and Daily Mail readers about the Northern Ireland protocol and Brexit. I always like the randomness of the news stories popping up just like opening a newspaper. This new change is just putting people into an echo chamber like Facebook, where stupid views are echoed back at people so they think they are right,
Right now I'm wondering whether any of the site's management group has been reading this stream of comments. I hope that they have. I also hope they'll make an adjustment in their processes, or that at least someone on their team will reply here with their own post to explain what they've done.
