Windows 11 keeps dropping wifi

Recently installed Windows 11. The wifi remains connected for sometime and then after some time drops. Nothing I do can reconnect again. Only a complete restart fixes the wifi and then after sometime the connection gets dropped again. What can I do to fix this?

    I had the same issues on Windows 11 as well. After a windows update wifi network card just suddenly stop working.

    My laptop comes with Killer AC 1550i wifi card and I tried pretty much everything online and the support page, but no matter what I done it's just keeping have issues.

    The Device Manager shows the device cannot be started. Error code 10.

    I even boughta new wifi card Intel AX210 and the same issues still happens. That makes me think this is not a driver or laptop problem. This is a Windows 11 problem.

    I find that reinstall EC firmware can sometime fix the issuse, but it will not last long.,wifiI will keeps dropping off and then stop working eventually. I really don't want to reinstall Window. :(

    I have to agree. Why hasn't Microsoft resolved this issue? Windows 11 is garbage without a resolution.

    The amount of time and frustration this issue has cause is infuriating.

    Sorry for the late necro of an older thread, but just got a new laptop last week, which came with Windows 11 pre-installed on it, and just got this stupid problem tonight....

    I swear Microsoft pulled Windows 11 out of the oven & served it up, before it was done cooking. The number of bugs / issues I have found with this excuse for an operating system is next to ridiculous, and I almost wish I could downgrade to a more functional Windows version now, but the option is not available after a very short amount of time (10 days I believe) to downgrade for free. I am already spent now just from buying the new laptop, so spending more on a replacement operating version is not realistic.

    Anyhoo, as for this dorpping WiFi thing, I found that doing a reboot back to desktop seems to correct it, but it is frustrating, especially in you are in the middle of something tha requires internet connection.

    Really sloppy work from Microsoft, on this WIndows version!!**

    Windows 11 settings, Network & Internet, Advanced Network Settings, "NETWORK RESET"

    FINALLY SOLVED! The problem was in the network adapter that came installed with Windows 11, I bought an exterrnal USB wireless network adapter and it worked!

    Would this work with a laptop?
