Recently installed Windows 11. The wifi remains connected for sometime and then after some time drops. Nothing I do can reconnect again. Only a complete restart fixes the wifi and then after sometime the connection gets dropped again. What can I do to fix this?

So I have a similar issue, new Huawei laptop but it is the same Intel W-FI 6 AX201 160MHZ NIC,

network drops out - its is actually only on 2.4 GHZ you get this, switching to the 5G seems to eliminate the problem.

So if your router does 5G switch to that.

I tried that latest driver from Intel but it did not not help.

Basically the authentication and indentification process is failing on 2.4GHZ so anytime the wi-fi has to re-auth it fails.

strangely it does succeed some times. It is not signal strength.

Looked into this a bit more, seems like it is the TPA2/PSK that is the issue. I switch off the security on my wi-fi and didnt get a single drop out.

So combination of TPA2/PSK, Intel W-FI 6 AX201 160MHZ NIC, and Vigor 2860 router causes the problem.

Intel AC 9462 with same build of Win 11 and same router is fine, so something to do with TPA2/PSK and the AX201 160MHZ NIC

Would love to hear if anyone has the same issue but with TPA3 security enabled?
