I can't believe that Microsoft removed the "Copy To" and "Move To" options in Windows 11 File Explorer! I used these options often! Unless I'm missing something, Microsoft just heavy handedly removed these options!

This does not work. It just brings me to Control Panel. I hope "Windows" people are reading the feedback from frustrated users. How hard would it be for them to send an "Update" that restores this essential function of copying and moving files easily between different devices.
In addition, my computer is frustratingly slow since installing Windows 11. Not recommended. I wish I never installed it.
I tried File V2 and found it has next to no support for searching files. You can search for non-indexed files, but there is no way to save a search. It does not even save the search query in the search list box! This is a deal breaker for me.
So I'm back to using the Windows 10 version of File Explorer.
Thanks for causing so much turmoil for so many people Microsoft!
People have been leaving feedback for years regarding a tabbed interface in File Explorer, as well as other features. Obviously, Microsoft does not listen to their customers!
One of the good things about Windows is flexibility and 3rd party app support(unlike Apple which limits everything citing security). Files v2 adds support for the Tabbed interface, plus is more reliable than the current version of File explorer.

nice to have cut, copy & paste. BUT that's not the same thing as moving a document. why multiple steps when many of us frequently used one step to move documents or photos from one folder to another

No need to open "More choices", Cut, Copy and Paste are in top of context menu.
Hey, thanks Pauli! Right you are. Just look at the top. In fact, even the "rename" option appears, after pasting the file to a new folder. Makes a big difference to know this.
