What happened to the "Copy To" option in Windows 11 File Explorer?

I was really disgusted at the start of this thread about this when 1 of my laptops got upgraded to 11. I was FURIOUS that they got rid of the Copt/Move To feature

BUT 5 months later I've got to say the way they want you to do it now is actually faster and safer.

once your Main folder is open all you need to do is click the box or even multiple boxes (It will HIGHLIGHT the items when you press copy)>>> Press the Copy icon>>> then just click on the folder you want it to go to> PASTE( and the copied folders will also be highlighted)

very easy actually instead of pulling down that Copy To Menu then opeing the folder then pasting it.

You are not understanding the problem of removing the CopyTO and MoveTO buttons. These buttons accessed dozens of directories which you could then copy or move files to.

Thanks @Rocassa45. Still can't get past the notion such a major, user-friendly change would be wiped away. I did take the upgrade dive based on a few articles noting upcoming features that will change the Windows OS game. Decided to start navigating the diffs and be ready for "Windows OS Nirvana".

But the productivity hit is measurable for me.

RE: File Explorer - BTW, love the analogy "creeping green caterpillar" - I'm not seeing much improvement there either.

Do yourself a favor and get XYplorer. It's the best file manager out there.

The button copy is here, but it stopped working after autumn 2022. I press the button, and the button paste does not appear until I make a copy from the "more choices" menu. I thought that I have some problem with my Windows copy, but then I discovered that the problem is present on my second computer. Strange.
