Realtek 5.1/7.1 surround speaker issue in Windows 11.

Hi,

Since I upgraded to Windows 11 a few days ago, I now no longer have the option in sound settings to enable 5.1 or 7.1 surround support, as I did in Windows 10. At least I believe that I had that option in Windows 10, all I have now is stereo only and I miss the added depth of sound of my 5.1 speakers. Am I failing to see the obvious, or is this an oversight in the programming. If anyone has any thoughts on solving this issue it would be most welcome. I admit I have not tried installing the Realtek Audio Manager, as that file looks as though it may not be compatible with Windows 11 although it did function in Windows 10.

I am sorry but i have to disagre. I have the same issue regarding Realtek ONBOARD Soundcard ,i have a MSI GE73 9RF Raider Notebook and it worked perfectly up until windows 7, on windows 10 started glitching now and then only Stereo option available in Audio Channels menu selection. I have tried everything from uninstalling, reinstalling, updating nothing works, watched a handfull of videos and read a LOT about this issue and it is a driver issue or Microsoft Windows issue and thats that.

On the Realtek Audio Console. Turn off the Noise Cancellation Feature and all the 5 Speakers + Subwoofer should work properly. Not sure if its a glitch or that how it is supposed to work

AND Razar THX audio licence is fully signed and it cannot send audio in anything but 2,0 since windows 11. when it used to work.

You do understand that Razer THX is for spatial positional audio for headphones --- which humans only have 2 ears.
