12/06/2021 A new out of band update KB5004476 released for version 2004, 20H2 and 21H1. Build number incremented to 19041.1022, 19042.1022, and 19043.1022. Changelog:

This non-security update includes quality improvements. Key changes include:

  • Addresses an issue that might redirect you to the Microsoft Store page for Gaming Services when you try to install or start an Xbox Game Pass game on your Windows 10 device. Additionally, you receive error 0x80073D26 or 0x8007139F. For more information, see KB5004327.

This update is available as an optional update in Windows update.

    Windows 10 version 2004, version 20H2 and version 21H1 KB5003637 -, Build 19041.1052, 19042.1052 and 19043.1052.

    Was attempted and looked like a successful install. However I had problems immediately with Taskbar Icon disappearing and the returning and then disappearing again. Attempts to control the taskbar icons (system and application) failed to control the problem.

    By removing KB5003637, the problem went away. Reinstalling the update caused the problem again.

    I am running:

    Dell XPS-15

    Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-10885H CPU @ 2.40GHz 2.40 GHz

    Installed RAM 32.0 GB (31.8 GB usable)

    The same update didn't cause my older Dell-Studio any issues.

    This is a very frustrating issue. For now, I have left the update off and paused any updates until I hear this has been resolved.

    Overly happy to announce to the WHOLE WORLD that Windows updates can NO LONGER happen on my computer!

    After today's nightmare with last night's upgrade, I want you to tell me please how to turn off updates forever. I don't mind security updates, but I don't want Windows to change otherwise.

    I really don't want to waste another two hours, only to find out that I have to uninstall the latest update. I currently cannot block new updates except for 35 days maximum. That's not long enough if they're going to entirely destroy the functionality of my machine. How did you do it?

    If someone from Microsoft wants to look into this, my case number is 1023870148.

    My PC automatically updated with this cumulative update, on June 9, while I was using my computer. At the time, my iPhone was plugged into my PC USB, and charging. iPhone disconnected once the update completed. Discovered that both USB and Bluetooth capability lost, likely due to a driver issue. This is the third or fourth time I've had this issue following a Windows Update: cannot connect devices to my computer via USB ports, nor can I connect Bluetooth devices to my PC. In past instances it has been time-consuming and frustrating to rectify. Super annoying.

    What is the problem, could you explain ? Are you getting an error message during the update ?

    What is your current Windows 10 version and build number ?

    What is the make and model of your machine ?
