Tcpip.sys error Windows Insider Program

When I try to install the preview of Windows 11 I always get to the green screen like BSOD with SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED what failed:tcpip.sys I've tried all the possible solutions: resetting network adapters; uninstalling and installing drivers; did the tcp/ip reset in command prompt "netsh int ip reset"; and even tried disabling windows security (the only antivirus installed). Any other suggestions?

Excluding regional settings, keyboard layout and location based in Portugal, I just realized that there IS something most likely we all have in common as Portuguese: the citizen card (Cartão de Cidadão) app and the related drivers!!!!

It's kind of a long shot, but does anyone else use this?

It's the only thing I could think of that would make sense in terms of all of us here being Portuguese users!

    Hi,

    I was able to enter recovery mode and then revert to last windows version.

    I'm this case, The machine reverted to Windows 10 and then I was able to remove autenticação.gov.

    Give it a try if you upgraded from Windows 10.

    Hi,

    I'm also portuguese and I started getting this GSOD on the tcpip.sys as well. Has anyone been able to recover from this GSOD without resetting the system?

    I'm trying to use the Command Prompt to uninstall the Autenticacao.gov application using wmic tool (https://www.howtogeek.com/702540/how-to-uninstall-a-program-on-windows-10-from-command-prompt/) but without success. I am able to access the Windows filesystem C:\ drive but no clue on how to fully and properly uninstall the Autenticacao.gov application from there nor if something like that could work.

    I've tried other things as well:

    • I can't perform a System Restore because I haven't created a restore point (silly me! 🙄)
    • Restarting in any of the Safe modes available, the GSOD still occurs. No Safe Mode for me :( .
    • I've tried to uninstall all the updates (quality and feature) from the recovery GUI but to no avail, the GSOD it's still there.

    Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance!
