Cannot install Windows 11 - Error 0xc1900101

I am having the same problem. Each time i try the install goes a bit further until today when it just stopped, backed out the changes and rebooted. I saw 0xc1900101 error in Windows Update.

Hope there is a solution soon.

I was too facing the same errors of failed installation on Surface Go2 M3 even after installing all available updates from the update center.

After keep trying, I noticed my system has Windows 1909 release, and when I checked further there were many more standalone releases available on the Microsoft site. So I gave the change to update my release from 1909 to 21H1.

Next, when I again tried, Win11 successfully got installed on the same machine.

Nope, my PC is a standard Intel NUC with a single M2 drive, nothing else special connected.

Well I went back and tried my upgrade once more before I started to remove my second SSD drive and try other things, and on the second try, it installed completely. I think I had just one other update that I let Microsoft update me to before I started the install procedure, so I'm ok with the upgrade, hope you find out what your issue is. And no I don't have any capture cards, I do have one that's USB, kinda older type but still in it's packaging.

My system to say the least isn't your average run-of-the-mill setup either I have dual ssd's with a different copy of WIndows 10 on each, my main drive is pro, and the second is home, then I have a 2TB standalone drive, then I have 4 1tb drive setup as a raid 5 configuration, running an 8700K overclocked most the time, so I assumed if anyone is going to run into any issues it would probably be me. But I was surprised that I did not have any. Not to mention my TPM isn't a real TPM it's just firmware running through a setting in my BIOS. SO go figure.

I was hoping the new release (10.0.22000.65) might install successfully, but nope, same 0xc1900101 error.

Do you use any capture cards?
