well Microsoft will have to come up with a fix but it wont by pass tmp service in the script it has to identify the drive that windows 11 is on for secure boot system . So its up to scripters to figure out a way to fix this problem .

I am trying to install the new Windows 11 update from Windows Update, but I keep getting error 0xc1900101.
The installation starts, and after a couple restarts, it says:
" Attempting to recover installation "
" Undoing changes made to your computer "
And then I am greeted with error 0xc1900101 on Windows Update.

2021-09-05T23:06:05+00:00 That is an awful fix !! I have 8 SSDs behind a RAID adapter running in JBOD mode. My boot drive is a PCIe NVMe drive. There is no way I am unplugging all the SSDs. MSFT needs to fix the install script ASAP or many people will just dump this update.

2021-09-04T20:00:00+00:00 This has to do with SSD and m.2 support errors for some reason when installing windows 11 the install script cant identify the primary drive windows is on . So you get this error when installing so to fix this you will need to unplug the SSD finish the install and then plug it back in then update if need be .

2021-09-04T07:24:35+00:00 If you have Bitlocker, suspend Bitlocker Protection for the update to install. Once the update has completed, Bitlocker will automatically reactivate.

2021-08-23T09:47:31+00:00 Yep, update to .160 went fine and then I re-enabled all the stuff I disabled. Everything seems good now ... just have the (expected) warning about unsupported hardware.
So now I have time to prepare to do a clean install of Win10 once the Insider Preview is done (or else possibly just get a newer NUC).
