Cannot install Windows 11 - Error 0xc1900101

Evening,

I have again attempted to run Win 11, this time using the ISO download to a USB. Upon running setup it gets to around the 93% mark, the pc rebooting several times, then fails. The setup failure reports 0xC1900101 - 0X4000d. Looked up the code and received;

<br><br>0xC1900101 - 0x4000D	Usually, a Blue screen issue, caused by an incompatible driver.<br><br>There would be a file named setupmem.dmp in C:/$Windows.~bt\Sources\Rollback, which you can interpret using WinDBG to find the problematic driver.<br><br><br><br>(I have no idea what WinDBG is or how to inerpret using it).

Same issue for me, have tried multiple times a month apart to try and let Microsoft make updates, system is saying it's ready but get that error every time trying to install. I tried removing third party anitvirus software temporarily prior to install, but makes no difference. PC is more than capable (i7-1165GY, 16GB Ram).

Yes, we need a better answer than an error code. Why did the system generate the error code!!!

After turning on, the windows update was unable to download. clicking on pause updates for a week and then resuming updates helped in solving the problem.
