I am trying to install the new Windows 11 update from Windows Update, but I keep getting error 0xc1900101.
The installation starts, and after a couple restarts, it says:
" Attempting to recover installation "
" Undoing changes made to your computer "
And then I am greeted with error 0xc1900101 on Windows Update.

Even though people in the Dev track have a lot of advanced skills, needing to jump through these kinds of ridiculous hoops is crazy.
I partitioned my SSD, which was suggested by another fellow windows insider. I installed Windows 11 in that blank partition, and now I am up and running.
I had to reinstall all of my applications (all from Microsoft by the way) and move 750gb of files and folders.
Would I do it again to get windows 11? Without cussing, I would say no!
When I run that, it doesn't say much:

Same error with build 10.0.22000.132.
The 0xc1900101 error is generic. There isn't a single answer to resolve it. You will need to run SetupDiag (see above) to determine what is causing it in your specific case.
