This is a summary of the cumulative updates released on December 8th for all the supported consumer releases of Windows 10. This is the last release for Windows 10 1903 Home and Pro editons.

  1. Windows 10 version 2004 and version 20H2 - KB4592438, Build 19041.685 and 19042.685
  2. Windows 10 versions 1903 and 1909 - KB4592449, Build 18362.1256and 18363.1256

IMPORTANT Adobe Flash Player will go out of support on December 31, 2020. For more information, see Adobe Flash end of support on December 31, 2020. Flash content will be blocked from running in Flash Player beginning January 12, 2021. For more information, see Adobe Flash Player EOL General Information Page.

UPDATED 12/8/20

REMINDER Windows 10, version 1903 has reached end of servicing as of this release dated December 8, 2020. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends that you update to the latest version of Windows 10. If you want to update to Windows 10, version 1909, you must use the Enablement Package KB4517245 (EKB). Using the EKB makes updating faster and easier and requires a single restart.     Hi, recently the update got me (in case, end of the 31/12 day), my pc freezes, goes no video (and no functional) and I have to restart forcefully every time, I've lost my reboot count Saturday. Is anyone having the same problem?

    Lucky you... wait for the revised update.. this one can be politely described as a worldwide Beta test... which is causing some of us a major nightmare... wait until they have sorted it!

    You can pause the updates no more than two times before Windows will force the update to be installed on your machine.

    Updates are there to add new features to Windows (Comulative updates) and to patch security bugs/volnerables in Windows 10. The bottom line is they are designed to keep your device safe online

    Totally safe if you cannot even turn it on! Our point is that this is the second update this year that has broken our computers and made them unusable. This should not be. Microsoft should not be releasing a product that breaks people's computers... for Microsoft to consider that it is for our good to force us to update to an unusable product seems the hight of imbicility.

    This needs fixing and quickly... and my poiint remains.. those of us posting here are tech savvy but there are millions out there who are not and are having to buy expensive support to sort out a problem that is not of their making... and is likely to happen again.

    .. and what happens when I come to the end of my pauses.. seems I will end up with a brick and no possibliity of getting it going again.

    Yep - end of life has hit me twice and my stuff is just about  years old. It's like the last update that got into the stream for Adobe Flash. They aren't even going to make the program after this month. The Microsoft techs had absolutely no idea what to do with it. Finally Adobe sends out a notice to uninstall it. What was that -- a way to get attention?
