2021-01-18T18:41:59+00:00 I realize that since you can't press the windows icon (as it's not available to you) my first part of how to get into safe mode is inadequate for you.
Perhaps you can try one of these methods to get into safe mode:

Hold down the shift key and click Restart.
Click the option Troubleshoot and then Advanced options.
Under “Start-up Settings” click Restart.
"Safe Mode" should be one of the available options.

After Windows 10 starts in Safe Mode:
Click the Windows button > Settings > Update & Security
Click Uninstall Updates
Select the KB4598242 line and press the Uninstall button

2021-01-18T18:27:23+00:00 After numerous attempts to download/install both of these updates, I finally got them both to download and install 100%, both with their "pending restart" options ready to go. And I did - I restarted my PC and now I have two blank monitor screens staring back at me (I have dual monitor setup). It appears the drive is doing 'something' in the background (every 10-15 secs or so), but I've left this OVERNIGHT and simply don't know if it's just caught in a loop. SO...I've done a hard reboot and I basically want to go in SAFE MODE and get rid of these updates while also making sure that 1) I can't automatically update and 2) my PC will block these updates from trying to install/download again. From the comments below, I see I'm not the only in this predicament. Any assistance would be highly appreciated.

2021-01-18T18:23:14+00:00 My laptop just updated with the latest Windows 10 update and now I on get a blank screen when I log in. I am not able to uninstall the update as there are no icon or menu displayed. How do I get update off of my computer.
