Muvee Reveal Encore 2018 incompatible Windows 10

I just bought the software 5 days ago and once I open the programme, this message of "Exception error ocurred" details: "Object reference not set to an instance of an object" appears. I would be grateful if someone can bring me some info about or help me fix this problem. Thank you in advance.

You will not get this resolved.

Muvee Technologies Inc. is aware of this problem with Windows 10.

Although Win 10 was first released in 2015 (over 5 years ago) Muvee has failed to keep their software up to date with Windows updates, as all responsible software developers do.

You have few options.

1. Tech support is unresponsive and if you DO get a response they will blame it in Windows.

2. If you recently purchased, contact your credit card provider and dispute the charge.

3. If it's an older purchase write MTI with all information and demand a refund. (you will not get one)

4. Send a copy of your request and their refusal to you state Attorney Generals office.

5. Send a copy of your request and their refusal to the California Attorney Generals office.

5. Send a copy of your request and their refusal to the Better Business Bureau.

6. Post reviews of your experience to social media and all sites that are reviewing and promoting Muvee.

7. keep and document all records.

8. Find a better software for your needs

At the end of the day, Muvee Technologies is an incompetent software developer that is essentially selling a product they KNOW will not work.

They *should* be hit with a class action lawsuit.

As you look through, you can see, Muvee is not reaponding or jas an answer. I have found a work arpund that works for me (I have not received a reaponse whether its working for others). First, I'd fight any charges with your credit card company right now, as it appears Muvee is selling am un-uodated software. As for the workaround.

If you disconnect from the internet before opening the software, it opens for me without crashing. I can then do anything in the software at that time. I have been able to reconnect to the interweb after the software is open and it wprks fine. But if you close and re-open while connected to the interweb, it will give you the error message and shut down.

I have two computers. Just got a new one. On the old computer, Muvee runs just fine, no work around needed. On the new computer, not so much. Same error as everyone else. So I am not sure what the difference is.

I have found, disconnecting the interweb, allows me to open the program without it crashing.

If needed, you can reconnect to the interweb after the program is open, and so far, it runs as it should. If it crashes or ou close out of the program, if you try to open connected to the interweb, it will crash again.

I hope this works for everyone. Better than sitting and waiting for these clowns

Again;

Disconnect internet

Open Encore

Run as you wish

(Reconnect internet if you want while open)

Dumb, but hopefully affective

Hello,

I got the same issue:

When I start a new project, muvee Reveal Encore crashes with a message popping up : "Exception error occured ! Details: La reference d'objet n'est pas définie à une instance d'un objet."

I am totally blocked in my work.

Thank goodness! Heard back from muvee again. Glad they are more responsive, which hopefully indicates some work is being done. Has anyone heard anything else, some specifics? For those concerned, this is what they had to say:
