What is going on with that update?
I installed it and now my PC freezes like a hell with no usage at Task Manager!
There is no 3rd party apps, problem in Windows. And it seems like MS doesn't care about that. Awful.
This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
I installed the Windows 10 20H2 update about a week ago, and since then my computer constantly freezes. These tasks aren't computationally demanding - watching videos in the browser or Spotify etc. I read there were some known issues with the update affecting network connectivity as well as general performance issues, but I've tried to install the patches for this and they're "not applicable to my device".
I have a series of driver updates but nothing else in my "optional updates" section. Should I try these? Are there pending patches for this update yet to be released? Worst case scenario, can I just roll it back completely?

Hello everybody, the mouse and the audio were lagging to me. it's the latest Edge Chromium and it's new way of handling process priorities. If it stays in the background, it overwrites everything (priority rule wise), even if you're not actively using it. The only way to fix the audio stuttering is to disable this feature in Edge flags.. I solved it like this:
Go to Edge://flags
Search for "Delay Competing Low Priority Requests" and disable it
Restart the PC.
It worked for me.
Bye
I installed 20H2 on May 11. my backup program no longer works. W@indows error message is error report shows 1001 and 1002. aconros is frozen, but i was lucky enough to have a back to reinstall. PC also runs very slow and long time loading anything. need a fix for this
roll back if u can but it's like impossible if you don't have a return point because microsoft deletes the version files when you go to 20h2, experienced it first hand. u can also just find an iso for the certain windows version and go back to it. then, just get the "windows update blocker" which lets you completely stop windows update service process. i also know how painful it is to see your computer freeze every second because microsoft doesnt really care about low end pcs. have a nice day. hope this helped u.
edit: not sure if the version files are deleted for you but it directly updated from 1809 to 20H2 for me so thats prolly why it deleted, even tho it shouldnt have deleted them as 10 days didnt pass yet.
Good Day Tom,
I appreciate your time getting back to this thread, yes there is a big possibility if there are multiple apps or services running in the background, feel free to try those steps and keep me posted about the results.
Have a wonderful day ahead and stay safe.
Sincerely,
Carlo T.
