SCAM - Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection Firewall & Network Protection

I received a scam email regarding order confirmation for the above this morning - One year subscription for $299.99.  I did not order this and I did not call phone number listed(1-888-601-2806). 

I just wanted to advise you of this email.  I have received a similar SCAM last year.

* Moved from teams.

I received this same scam today, only my charge was to be $399! I know it was a scam because the guy that answered the phone, told me I ordered it a month ago. I knew that was a lie, because I haven't been on my computer in at least 6 months. I also threatened to get an attorney involved and he quickly hung up! Lol! Obviously these are people who can't get an honest job:(

I CALLED 'ROGER' TO TELL HIM HE HAS BEEN REPORTED TO THE FCC. NOW HIS NAME IS 'ROBIN' AND HE QUICKLY HUNG UP WHEN HE WAS TOLD OF FCC INVOLVEMENT...... HELL IS TOO GOOD FOR THESE LAZY FOCKERS.

I TOO GOT THIS EXACT EMAIL BUT THE PHONE CONTACTS WERE DIFFERENT:

I received a similar email from "The Microsoft Defender Team" on 8/16/2021. I, too, did not call the 800 number given. The "charge" was for $399.00. I ordered nothing from Microsoft.

On August 9, 2921 I also recived the same Scam email Letter and invoice on Mircosoft Letterhead a copy of which is below. I contacted the 800 number and immeditley knew it was a sam. What I did not like is the fact tha they claimed to have access to auto pay account that is tied to my bank. It was reporterd to Microsoft.
