I received a scam email regarding order confirmation for the above this morning - One year subscription for $299.99. I did not order this and I did not call phone number listed(1-888-601-2806).
I just wanted to advise you of this email. I have received a similar SCAM last year.

i use - https://www.spydialer.com/default.aspx when i search to validate a phone number. The MICROSOFT number they gave was "not found"(bogus). However, they are taking more time to make the header(s) and text to appear more believable. Be careful, don't believe anything unless thoroughly verified. https://www.spydialer.com/default.aspx for any questionable phone numbers, NOT FOUND results are almost always BS.

I received I purchased Microsoft windows defender and I did not purchase it. This is a scam and I will file a complaint if they take anything out of my account!
I received the same scam email with my name including middle initial in the email. Trying to think of the source. I did make a recent purchase from Dell.com wonder if they have unscrupulous people working for them.
