SCAM - Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection Firewall & Network Protection

I received a scam email regarding order confirmation for the above this morning - One year subscription for $299.99.  I did not order this and I did not call phone number listed(1-888-601-2806). 

I just wanted to advise you of this email.  I have received a similar SCAM last year.

    I just received this scam email today to renew my Microsoft Defender Protection which I don't have. Please be on the lookout for this scam.

    remain vigilant, even if the FCC does nothing, they are increasing their odds of getting caught because someone slicker than they are can trap them.

    Stupid me called the number and advised I did not authorize...then they wanted access to my computer...I promptly hung up..but will be watching my cc for unauthorized activity

    I wonder if an arrest would be made if.....someone said I need 433 Windows Defender Advanced Threat Protection Firewall & Network Protection packages for my new mail order purchasing system for 433 computers to sell Joe Biden's Climate Monitoring Devices (Empty Baby Food Jars with Lids @$49.95 apiece) . However, I will need them to appear in person to receive payment of (433 x $399) $172, 767 and to sign a maintenance contract worth another $500,000, paid in full up front.
