I downloaded the media creation tool for 20H2 Windows 10 version. Requested 64 bit version ONLY.
ISO file is over 4.7GB, does not fit on DVD. What should I do? I DO NOT want to mess with dual layer,
blue ray, or flash drives. Never had this problem before, seems like a glitch in the tool perhaps,
it does not compress the file properly?

This one works! Just burned it to DVD. So, this should resolve all the media format woes posted here? :)

Be sure to choose the second option to create media installation, unless you want to update directly.
Why would you use a DVD to install Windows? You'd be creating land fill! Copy it to a USB stick and by doing so you probably have a system running faster.
(in 10 years time I would ask: DVD? what is DVD?)
My USB format is NTFS but I downloaded the .iso to C:\ drive then used WINRAR to extract the files to my USB drive. I did the refresh pc using the new Windows 10 just downloaded but it did not fix the problem with Lock Screen froze on one image, unfortunately. It may require a format and completely new install.
Question; If you make a DVD of the ISO can you rewrite the DVD with a new ISO?
With the USB stick I can rewrite it many times.

Find a Win 8.1 ISO you can burn to DVD. Then upgrade in place using the Windows 10 Media Creation tool.
