Recieve an email fron PC Solutions stating a payment of $329.00 was recieved by auto renewal for my Firewall Security Plan. I have never dealt with this company and wondered if anyone had the same problem. I called to inquire and they could give me no info about my'account". But, they wanted me to use the "Teamviewer" app to cancel the account. That did not sound right. Supposedly it's the only was to cancel the transaction. HELP!

Yes, it's a scam Do not use TeamViewer. It will let them take control of your and royally screw things up. There is no transaction to cancel. Just ignore their message.
In fact you should never let *anyone* take control of your computer, using TeamViewer or anything else, unless it's someone you know and trust impilcitly, both with regard to his honesty and technical skills.

It is a scam, as you have stated you don't have any history with that company. What I can suggest is just ignore them if they call you or block and mark their email spam on your mail app. Don't follow on whatever they told you to do. Because most likely they were trying to access your machine and hack it.

same here yesterday. my husband is an ITguy and said phishing. i tried to find the address on maps. no raleigh street in miami. and 2nd land is in fontainbleau, and that is next to miami but not miami.
plus i guess no decent company would send from a weird gmail address.
what i thought was strange was no link could be clicked. seems to be the newest thing now. get the people to call you and get access like this.

Got an email yesterday that they were debiting my account for $499.99 for a renewal!
This did not make any sense to me, the email stated that I could not reply but if I wanted to cancel I had to phone a number; 1-209-600-4987.
The email came from someone with a "gmail.com" account !!!!
The name of the company at the bottom was listed as: PC Soluution Llc in Miami!, 3856 Raleigh St. 2nd lane and there no such address in Miami.
There are no "PC Solutions" company registered at the address given.
This is a scam for sure.
If you get such an email, just delete it.
