Checks system requirements. Everything is a go.

Did the download.

Got message: "We couldn't update the system reserved partition."

How do I continue?

    Hi Greg

Okay, then, I think the best and probably only option now is a full clean install of Windows 10, you will need access to another working PC to create the bootable Windows 10 USB . . .

    Click this link:

    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-downlo...

to download the Media Creation Tool (Click on Download Tool Now), with that you can download the latest Windows 10 ISO (Select Create Installation Media for Another PC), you can create a bootable USB flash drive (min 8GB) using that tool

Then, Boot your PC from the Installation Media you just created (change Boot Order in your BIOS) to begin installing Windows 10

Since you previously had Windows 10 installed and activated on that PC during the installation process skip the steps which ask for a product key and select the option 'I am Reinstalling Windows 10 on this PC', and activation will not be an issue, your PC will have a digital entitlement stored on the Microsoft Activation Servers

Make sure you install the same Edition of Windows 10 (Home, Pro . . . etc.) you previously had installed to avoid Activation issues

Thought everything was going fine. Went through download and then started installation which has been stuck on 99% for 16 hours now. Doesn't seem normal to me. What are my alternatives?

    Hi Greg

Are those the partitions on your hard drive?

If so, you have a UEFI system with a hard drive with a GPT partition style, so the GPT steps are the ones to follow on that page . . .

    .

Followed the link you provided. Have four partitions:

    1. Healthy (Recovery Partition)
    2. Healthy (EFI System Partition)
    3. Healthy (Boot, Page File, Crash Dump, Primary Partition)
    4. Healthy (Recovery Partition)

When I select Disk Management Volumes tab the table is empty. No GPT or MBR.

    How should I proceed?
