Hi,

You can simply copy the link to reach the desire place in the regedit and then modify the required value.

Step 1 - Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft.NETFramework\v2.0.50727

Create a new entry SystemDefaultTlsVersions with a REG_DWORD value set to 1.

Create a new entry SchUseStrongCrypto with a REG_DWORD value set to 1.

Step 2 - Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft.NETFramework\v4.0.30319

Create a new entry SystemDefaultTlsVersions with a REG_DWORD value set to 1.

Create a new entry SchUseStrongCrypto with a REG_DWORD value set to 1.

Step 3 - Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft.NETFramework\v2.0.50727

Create a new entry SystemDefaultTlsVersions with a REG_DWORD value set to 1.

Create a new entry SchUseStrongCrypto with a REG_DWORD value set to 1.

Step 4 - Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft.NETFramework\v4.0.30319

Create a new entry SystemDefaultTlsVersions with a REG_DWORD value set to 1.

Create a new entry SchUseStrongCrypto with a REG_DWORD value set to 1.

After these changes restart the pc and then check if anything happen. If not then follow further step.

Step 5 - Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\WinHttp

Set the DefaultSecureProtocols REG_DWORD value to 800

Step 6 - Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\WinHttp

Set the DefaultSecureProtocols REG_DWORD value to 800

After these changes restart the pc.

    You first download the operating system of the phone by "Microsoft Device Recovery Tool" to version 8.1 Update 2

    Then you offline upgrade it to version 10.0.10586.107 with the program "OTC Updater"

    Do the following to use the "OTC Updater" program:

    Mobile:

    1- The phone is in flight mode

    2- Full battery charge

    3- Data connection between phone and PC with USB cable

    Computer:

    1. Microsoft Framework v. 4 software is installed

    2- If you still encounter an error while running the "OTC Updater" program

    Make these changes to the Windows PC registry:

    Before making changes to the Windows PC registry

    First get a "system rertore point"

    This will help you in restoring the registry

    By doing these 4 steps, your problem should be solved

    Reset the system and check with "OTC Updater" program

    After these changes restart the pc and then check if anything happen. If not then follow further step.


    If the error is not fixed

    Do these 2 steps

    Step 5 - Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\WinHttp

    Set the DefaultSecureProtocols REG_DWORD value to 800

    Step 6 - Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\WinHttp

    Set the DefaultSecureProtocols REG_DWORD value to 800

    After these changes restart the pc.

    You will receive the next updates of Windows Mobile 10 online

    By checking the update in the menu "phone update" 

    Online update OS build:

    10.014393.1066

    10.0.143932551

    10.0.15063.297

    10.0.15063.1868

    THANK YOU!! It worked, i'm updating a lumia 930 and a 830 to Win 10 right now :) also got a 520 and a 925 in the job lot i got off ebay but sadly those aren't officially supported. many thanks !!
