Have tried 3 times. Message on update page says it did not install and I may try again. This is not a new install. Have been using for couple of years.

Insane. We made Bill Gates one of the four wealthiest men on Earth.

    The incompetence is abysmal.

You broke it. You fix it.

    Try this alternate solution:

    > Press Windows key + R

    > Type services.msc

    > Locate Windows update, right-click it and select Stop

    > Close the window

    > Go to C:\Windows folder using file explorer

    > Locate SoftwareDistribution and delete it

    > Reboot your PC

    > Try downloading the update again

Is anyone from Microsoft going to address this issue? I have tried everything I can find online but nothing is working and I'm getting constant reminders from Windows that my system is not up to date. What an absolute shi*sho* from Microsoft 😡

I totally agree with you. I am so frustrated with this ridiculous situation I am giving up. I cannot believe that Microsoft has not tried to remedy or address this problem!
