My Windows 10 Version 20H2 will not install the update 0x80004005.

Well im sad to see that this is a problem loads of people have been having with this 20H2update since it's inception. And here we are in 2021 and people are still having problems I see. I ignored it for a good while because I have tried everything under the sun beyond sacrificing my first born to the Blood God. About a week ago I get this nice little notice (I really despise your system notices btw), "You better install this or else~!". I put it on hold only to find out that this morning Windows said "F you! We're going to download and install it while you're working in the background".  It's currently "Installing" as I type this.

Now I would love to install your update Microsoft, but the **** is broken, it won't install on my 2 year old pc. And it's the same issues everyone else has posted from what I have read. It goes through the download process, installs, etc... then that first Reboot, you get Had. You get the error message about the installation failing and you're right back from where you started.

Now I have tried the Direct install route from a USB Stick. It's the same ****. I have run CMD commands. Scanned the harddrive for errors. Checked the files, etc etc etc. Nothing matters. It fails no matter what. I've gone through seeing that the bios has the drive order by another suggestion on here. Same error every time. It does not install. 

I'm at a god damn loss here.I'd threaten to go to Linux entirely, but I don't hate myself that much to deal with that. Sorry Linux boys, it's fine for simple ****. But unless I'm a rich Youtuber with a sponsored 10k pc, it's kind of trash for modern games. And that I am not a Blue Blood.

I am encouraged that so many people have the same problem as me.

My PC is 18 months old and continues to work really well, apart from the fact that it won't install this particular update. I guess we'll have to wait for another major update that will hopefully jump past 20H2 but I agree it's sad that so many people have this problem, and that Microsoft are not responding.

1. Press Windows key +i on your keyboard

Did not understand the way to achieve that or in other words

What did you mean by " key +i " ?

2. Each time I try in settings updates the following message comes up

"Feature update to Windows 10, version 20H2 -Error 0x80070002".

Do any of the turds at Microsoft even realize there is a problem. We whine and **** on this forum, but Bill seems too busy poisoning the world with his vaccines to fix this ****.

I FOUND THE SOLUTION. UBUNTU 20.04LTS and now something keeps pushing the start button after 4 failed attempts.. and the start menu pops up.. 8 times while typing this so far. unplugged the mouse thinking that might be the problem, but noooo... so not the mouse and the touch pad is disabled... so not that either. Maybe some **** at MS is **** with my computer ... sooo.. I'm off to UBUNTU LAND see ya'll another 5 times that *^%(^&** start menu has popped up now

And this is why monopolies are only good if it's a board game and you're playing with your children.

They keep saying it will be fixed; but I don't think they have a clue.

BillG should be more like Elon Musk... when he had production problems he moved into the factory and was right there.

Anyway, they're really not accountable to anybody so they just don't care.

Again that's why they make forums like this. So we can splash around in the water with the alligators, while they sit up on the beach sipping lemonade and watching from afar.
