FYI.....Received Email answer from 'WinToUSB' Software Tech Support:
Question 1)
Will your product easily / reliably create a 100% fully bootable clone of my laptop’s internal SSD C-drive to a USB connected SSD drive?
Answer 1)
The USB SSD drive cloned by WinToUSB is a 100% bootable drive, but we do not guarantee that it can be booted on all computers for the following reasons:
A)
Some computer's BIOS have problems with booting USB drives larger than 64/128GiB. That means on these computer, the system partition and boot partition can't span beyond the 64/128GiB boundary.
B)
Some computers don’t support booting a device from the USB 3.0 port, so Windows can only be booted from the USB 2.0 port on these computers.
C)
Many computers don’t support booting from a device connected to a USB 3.0 PCI add-on card or external USB hubs, so Windows can only be booted from the built-in USB port on the motherboard on these computers.

Question 2)
If so, will your fully cloned copy on the USB connected SSD drive Boot Up the laptop from the USB connected SSD drive…just the same as if was installed inside the laptop itself?
Answer 2)
If Windows cloned to a USB drive can be booted from your computer, then it is the same as the internal drive.
