Cumulative updates - October 2020

Hi There,

I've tried multiple auto and manual installs of the cumulative update KB4577671. All updates have reached 20% installation, paused for several minutes, then failed. The error messages have been 0x800f0831 and 0x8024000b.

I am on Windows 10 Pro build 18363, x64-based PC.

I have successfully installed the SSU 4577670 and cumulative update preview KB4580980, but the update KB4577671 continues to fail.

Well it is because most of the videos are from India. LoL!

Their technical difficulties slangs have to get a hang of it.

But I managed to understand what are they trying to say. 

"I am trying to become a better searcher!"....you can say that again. I have to become a better soul searching myself in life. I Quick draw too many slam dunking links and i myself get dead confuse.

At the end of the day I get the fart off for nothing. 

I have to do better. As I progress. I'm going to get stuck here man. I have to deal with these people who have technical difficulties.

They shout out loud asking for help. But the help is not there for not searching through Google Search and Youtube Channels.

I wonder why they created the search engines while they did not make full use of it. LoL! 

"Sleep On!" They going to treat me like Google Assistant and Siri. Why can they use that on their phone to do Windows 10 Troubleshooting???

Yes, my understanding of the accent from India is not good.  At least you were able to get the hang of it! I sometimes have to try to interpret what you are trying to say sometimes and I'm sure you feel the same about many of us!  :D  ....  what is your native language?  I have a feeling you speak MANY languages.  I was laughing at this "At the end of the day I get the fart off for nothing."  I have no clue what that means!!!

You also use ROLF a lot. I like the dead confuse quote you say many times. Not making fun of you man,,,, just a bit of levity in the midst of this mess!!! Feel free to make fun of me--There is plenty there to make fun of!  ROFL.

My take on that statement:  You are not STUCK HERE MAN.  You can ignore pleas for help and go about your own business. You admittedly do not work for Microsoft and get paid by no one!  That's a shame!

So, my observation is that I think you are a very caring person who likes to HELP people!! You do it from the goodness within you. Obviously, you have a big heart and a desire to help. It's just exhausting for you because the questions/problems never stop day after day. You give answers to so many people and many don't even have the decency to let you know if what you told them helped or not, or give you a "Vote Up" --  even if just for your exhaustive searches using your own personal time.  I wish I had more knowledge to be able to help people the way you and several others do.  I'm sure I'll be shouting for help soon if/when this windows updates on my machine yet again!  I will try to search engine answers for myself and watch YouTube videos (Non-India Versions.)  When that fails, I'll be yelling for You!!!  LOL  -  Get some rest and keep on.

I am having trouble installing this windows update.

Windows 10 Home - Version 2004, Build 19041.508 - x64

Trying to install October 202 Build - KB4579311

When I restart my laptop to to the upgrade, everything seems to go fine. It says its working on installing upgrades, seems to complete, and then reboots itself. No error messages. However, upon reboot, I get stuck on a black screen with a single "loading wheel" spinning near the bottom.  I've left this spinning for 12 hours but nothing happend.

So I have to force a shutdown with the power button. Upon starting up again, it says that the updates could not be installed, does some clean up, and then boots windows normally.

If I go to the Windows Updates settings now, it says that the update failed with error code "Download error - 0x800703f1"

I've tried running sfc /scannow and DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth. Both did detect and fix some stuff, but the windows update failed in the same way the second and third times I tried it...
