IMPORTANT
Windows 10, version 1809, will reach end of service on November 10, 2020 for devices running Windows 10 Home, Pro, Pro for Workstation, and IoT Core editions. These devices will no longer receive monthly security and quality updates that contain protection from the latest security threats. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends updating to the latest version of Windows 10.
IMPORTANT
Windows 10, version 1903 will reach end of servicing on December 8, 2020. To continue receiving security and quality updates, Microsoft recommends that you update to the latest version of Windows 10. If you want to update to Windows 10, version 1909, you must use the Enablement Package KB4517245 (EKB). Using the EKB makes updating faster and easier and requires a single restart. Hi. When I was about to install an update to Build 19042.662 I accidentally closed the cmd window when my intention was after seeing the Progress Bar. I want to minimize the window. when I try to repeat the installation again, error 0x800f08f1 occurs.
maybe I will do an In Place Upgrade via Media Creation Tool who knows when it's time. maybe when the December 2020 Cumulative Update is Released.
after the update to windows 10 20H2 the things I'm facing
when I reached the desktop after a restart I have to wait more than 2 min to load everything and the application too loading very slow
especially the taskbar it takes time to load I have only a few icons on it
after the update my windows boot became slow and I don't know why my taskbar loading for more than 1 min to get started after the restart. updates are becoming degrade in windows now

I am glad I am not the only one having issues with this update. Laptop completely unusable as it takes hours to download, install, configure then almost at the end it can't complete the changes and then has to undo it all! and in the process disables my WiFi!
I have never had an issue with Windows Update before but this is beyond belief and tolerance. What is going on!!
So as my original question was ignored 2 weeks ago, I shall ask again.
Ever since the May update, I have had various issues with my home built system which had been working perfectly fine with Windows 10 till the May update.

It would be great not to escalate this further but ever since May, the problems have got gradually worse. It is really no good in getting the general public to do things that Microsoft have messed up on time and time again even with their apology for one update going drastically wrong for a lot of people at the beginning of the year. Not all of us are technically minded when it comes to software and end user programmes where an update happens and things go wrong once restarting systems.
I have even had a friend who is more than capable and even he does not know how to rectify the HDD issues and yes, we tried a lot via remote access. On the 3TB HDD, I had items on there and those (if this can not be sorted) be ever got back, a lot of personal items which have a lot of memories attached to them but I am guessing that personal items have no attachment to anyone associated with Microsoft therefore not important. I am sorry but they are to the individual user.
When back in May I followed to the letter the instructions to do a system restore, the keyboard did not work and the system kept on cycling. At the time, it had just done a system update and everything was fine till that point. I let it run as per and it did turn on again after leaving it on all night and turned the sleep mode off. As you can see from the screenshots, the HDD's are being shown in the devmgmt.msc yet they do not appear on the system itself.
I would like to know what is going to happen now to rectify this issue? If no one can help, I would recommend someone from Microsoft to contact my direct and I do mean from Microsoft. I know how much it is getting all the volunteers down with these tech questions and issues but this really is a Microsoft issue and therefore, it should be Microsoft solving these issues and not volunteers.
I shall await some replies and hope that it is not ignored again.
