The latest update just broke my Windows activation. My device has been using a genuine Windows 10 Home license for more than a year but after the update, it suddenly requires the activation again. Adding to the problem, I cannot even open the properties to check my product key or Windows info. Every time I troubleshoot and re-check, it keeps showing the activation error message with the error code 0xC004F012.

2020-11-13T05:52:53+00:00 Hi!
I carried out this update last night. When I switched on the laptop today morning, it continued updating, but soon after showed "Cleaning Up" message. The laptop finally boots up, and I cant find a single file. All my settings have also been changed.
Can you please help me find a recovery solution?
Edit: So I found all the files under User. But there are no files under the documents (which shows up on the quick access bar). Same thing with the desktop and the downloads.
So how do I get those to be the same?

2020-11-13T05:39:28+00:00 This update bricked my computer. Logged in after installing, barely made it a minute until it froze completely. Had to reset. Now it won't boot at all. Gets stuck at the manufacturer logo and then reboots itself over and over.
I've ran reset through the recovery mode, tried a restore point, even reformatted my hard drive and reinstalled from scratch. Same thing. Logged in, lasted a minute, crash, and now can't boot at all.

2020-11-13T03:34:01+00:00 Ahhh ok. My phone does not have a SD card. It's a large capacity phone and I have not needed to get a SD card. I back things up from phone to my computer. I also have no Mac, Ubuntu Linux Live Distro (whatever that is.)
Are you saying I cannot DL the ISO to my flash drive using my windows desktop? SMH and crying Uncle.
Appreciate the feedback as always. I'm off to watch some TV to get my mind off this MS stuff. TY!
