In new windows 11 up to date as of writing this. Core isolation memory integrity does not work and will not turn on. Every time I scan for incompatible drivers, none are listed. Checked the windows update, the system is up to date, and no errors in device drivers were found. All drivers appear up to date. BIOS most recent available (the same driver that was installed prior to this error occurring. None of the threads seem to address this, only ones where the driver is known. The DG readiness tool is not user-friendly for everyday users. Need a solution that can be done at home without having to be an IT guru or MSCE certified. It will not let me upload the screenshot or picture, keep getting errors in that as well.

I wanted to say that this finally cleared up for me. I was able to turn on Core Isolation Memory Integrity. I no longer get the message about incompatible drivers and then it listing nothing. This could have been luck or not related, but wanted to share in case anyone wants to give it a try.
Correction: The 24H2 Update DID resolve the problem for me, on two Dell G5 15 laptops, upgraded six months ago to Windows 11.
I'm delighted that this long-running issue has been fixed, at least for me.

It was an eligible upgrade from W10 Home to 11 on a Dell XPS8940 in 2023. The error showed up this past spring. I ran the check and it failed to enable. Click on list of incompatible driver list and it showed nothing. After every patch Tuesday, I would try again, but no change. I also reran after any dell bios updates. No change.
After todays patches, it self corrected. I did not do anything, but check if the error icon still showed and it now shows ok. I went in to settings to see and sure enough it is turned on. Since then I got 2 more updates from MS, KB5048162 and KB 5046740. It applied them and restarted and memory integrity is still working ok. Hopefully MS leaves it alone now!
I haven't deleted any apps in a while, so I would not have removed any drivers.
Too bad you can't get any answers from Microsoft. If they fixed it, even if it took many months, at least it mat be fixed. Since they have not been helpful on the forum, I am still concerned they don't really know what they broke and don't know they accidently fixed it now. That just means it will come back.....

Just to be clear since there can be confusion about whether the issue applies and if it was truly fixed.
[1] You have Windows 11 and it is either (A) a fresh Windows 11 install or (B) it was an eligible Windows 10 upgrade to Windows 11 sometime in the past?
[2] Your computer is mfgr by whom (Dell, HP, Lenovo, etc. or custom built)
[3] Windows 11 Home, 11 Pro, 11 Pro for Workstation, 11 Pro Education, 11 Education, 11 Enterprise (sheesh - there are a actually a couple more)
[4] You tried the issue before and after the 12/3/24 24H2 Patch -- when you tried to turn on Memory Integrity at time T.1 it told you to check for incompatible drivers and when you did, a blank list was shown. Then later after the 12/3/24 24H2 patch at time T.2 you did the same thing but this time it showed you the incompatible driver(s). Correct?
[4.1] What were the drivers shown if I may ask?
[4.2] Between T.1 and T.2 perhaps you uninstalled (deleted/removed) or updated the incompatible drivers and made them compatible and so it appears to be fixed.

I didn't see it there. I can't say for certain if Microsoft shows *all* their resolved fixes or only the ones of most interest to the widest audience but if they fixed this and you answer all the above questions appropriately then who knows what happened.

You will see a longer list of fixed problems and I don't know if Microsoft flags which ones are in the common code base for Windows 10 and 11 if such a concept applies. It wasn't there either.

Finally, I remain disappointed that Scott Hanselman (a legend) at Microsoft who wrote about System Integrity and whom I personally emailed on 09/19/2024 (75 days ago) and he never replied. I just (12/03/2024) emailed him again ("Hi Scott, Any update on this" and we shall see if he responds.
