Hi, I’m having an issue adding a new fingerprint on Windows 11, when I click on the sign in options it says “this option is currently unavailable” and to try again later, the button to set up another finger is greyed out. Log in is working with the fingerprint I have set up put I want to use another finger. What can I do to solve this? My laptop is the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 if that helps any. Thanks xx

This is pretty incomprehensible to me. I have a microsoft accout which microsoft keep updating and now seem to have produced an update which stops the laptop functioning properly. Surely we need another update which sorts this problem at your end siince it was caused by your updates.

I just bought this computer, I didn't set up fingerprint ID immediately. One day later I decided to set it up, I was able to get to the point where it asked me to repeatedly place my finger on the finger print pad and remove it, but no matter how long I spent doing this there were no signs of progress or this step coming to an end.
