Issue with Windows Hello on Windows 11 - fingerprint recognition option currently unavailable

Hi, I’m having an issue adding a new fingerprint on Windows 11, when I click on the sign in options it says “this option is currently unavailable” and to try again later, the button to set up another finger is greyed out. Log in is working with the fingerprint I have set up put I want to use another finger. What can I do to solve this? My laptop is the Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 2 if that helps any. Thanks xx

We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compitable with windows hellow

I have similar issue I just bought the laptop, but there is no fingerprint option under human interface or the biometric

So I can't setup the fingerprint even in the first place
