How to turn off Windows security asking me for a password to see my Google Chrome passwords

Same here. My "Use windows hello" thing is GREYED OUT, but I *STILL* have to put in my Winblows password.

I was able to test this in a VM. You will need to have a local account for this that does not have a password. As long as you have a user profile that has a password, Windows will ask you for it.

If you are trying to view your passwords in chrome, and you have a lot of them. I would suggest exporting these passwords to a CSV, that way you'd be able to view them all at once. You can do this by going to Chrome Settings (in 3 dots) > Autofill > Password manager > click 3 dots (right beside "Add") > Export.

I have done exactly what you have said and I still get this annoying request for user name and password to see my google passwords

I couldn't find it where people where saying it was... you need to click SETTINGS, then you will see the option to turn off.
