How can I turn off Windows security asking me for a password to see my Google Chrome passwords. This is a real inconvenience.

    FOUND THE SETTING

    it is a chrome setting >> Autofill and Passwords?? Password Manager >> Use Windows Hello when Filling In Passwords >> Turn off

    I have the same issue and this does NOT fix the problem. I want to TURN OFF windows authentication for my cached chrome passwords. How do we turn it OFF?

    I unfortunately don't see this option

    "Use Windows Hello when Filling In Passwords"

    in PASSWORD MANAGER, as per attachment

    I recently downloaded Chrome on this laptop where it is a problem: on older laptops, I don't get the window,

    Neither my Gmail or Hotmail addresses/passwords work, when this annoying window appears.

    OMG, thank you! I've been scouring settings for both Chrome and Windows trying to figure out how to remove this. The web has been absolutely no help! That is, until I came across your comment by chance!!! Thanks!!!
