Maybe I should take few steps back. What was the problem that led to the need to uninstall the Optaine Pinning Extension Shell? I don't want to head down the wrong path that doesn't solve the problem you had to begin with.

I performed the uninstall and I did a restart of my computer and it's still there. The pinned app which is on the Taskbar reads as follows. Intel Optane Memory is disabled.
